I have been in Palawan and live their for more than six years and I can say that more than 20 Island there are already owned by foreigners, Most of the Island were sold during the time of Marcos great m and according to Palwenos (native of Palawan) The El Nido Resort (Ten Knots) was first owned by Japanese Millionaire but later it was sold to San Miguel. I don't know if El Nido resort (ten Knots) is still owned and operated great m by San Miguel till this time. I agree if the foreigner will manage and own the Island of Palawan beacuse the local government make profits and income in those Island. Most of the beautiful Island now are already damaged beacuse the local community cut all the trees and rape everything in the Island.
